Part of the gameplay of Genshin Impact involves collecting and building characters with various resources, including level-up materials. While characters can gain experience by defeating enemies, their numbers are negligible, so you’ll find that level-up materials are absolutely essential to building characters in a reasonable amount of time.

There are three types of materials to level up: Traveler’s Advice, Adventurer’s Experience, and Hero’s Wits. Out of the three, the third one is the most rewarding as it gives 20,000 glyphs of experience. With that said, read on to learn how to farm Hero’s Wits in Genshin Impact.
Best ways to farm Hero’s Wit in Genshin Impact
Head to the Serenitea Pot and talk to Tubby to access the Realm Depot, where you can buy 20 Hero’s Wits at 120 Kingdom Currency each. Their promotions are updated every week, so be sure to buy before the server restarts on Mondays. You need 2400 Kingdom Currency to buy all 20 Hero’s Wits per week. Meanwhile, the realm’s currency can be grown by increasing your Serenity Pot trust rating and emptying the Wealth Jar every few days.
Ley lines exposed
Scattered across Teyvat are various ley line outcrops, identifiable by an icon that looks like an Anemo ball. There are several types of leyline outcrops, but keep an eye out for the Flowers of Revelation, which you can interact with to spawn enemies. Defeat enemies to spawn a Leyline Flower that you can interact with to exchange Primal Resin or Condensed Resin for rewards including the Hero’s Wits.
It is highly recommended to wait until World Tier 6 or higher to get the highest possible rewards (4 to 5 Hero’s Wits per round). You can also wait for the Leyline Overflow event to receive double rewards.
Other Ways to Farm Hero Wits in Genshin Impact
In addition to the above two ways, there are several other ways to get the Hero’s Wits in the game. While these methods are a bit less consistent as they depend on your game progress, it’s still a good idea to use them to increase your supply of level up materials.
