According to the reliable insider Tom Henderson, who is repeatedly shared by the reliable information on Call of Duty (and not only) before official statements, in early June Activision and Infinity Ward will officially announce Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 along with the presentation of the trailer. Another user of TheGhostofhope, which also specialized in leaks, previously stated that this would take place on June 2.
In addition, Henderson managed to find out from his sources that at the upcoming Summer Game Fest exhibition, which will take place on June 9, the developers plan to show an extended trailer for the passage of the Modern Warfare 2 campaign, and then, in August, they will present multiplayer along with the gameplay.
