The former Münchner Bundesliga-Profi Xherdan Shaqiri continues his career in the US at Chicago Fire. This confirmed the club on Wednesday. The Swiss football international comes for a transfer fee of seven million euros from Olympique Lyon and receives a contract in Chicago until the end of the season 2024. Shaqiri had started from 2012 to 2015 for Bayern Munich, 2013 he brought the Triple with the German record champion. Then the offensive midfielder changed to Inter Milan. This was followed by stations in England at Stoke City and the FC Liverpool. Only at the end of August 2021 Shaqiri Lyon had been connected.
